The Spitfire II takes the fire of the original and turns it into a two-channel powerhouse. Channel 1 keeps the classic Spitfire I voicing alive, while Channel 2 brings a bold, vintage-flavored gain with Diamond’s dual volume/gain design. Big, tight, and loaded with lows and mids, it’s everything you love about old-school heads—updated with modern punch.

Shape your low end with the three-way “low focus” switch, and rely on the tube-buffered loop to keep your tone pure and uncompromised. The E. Return control doubles as your master volume when the loop is engaged, giving you effortless command over your sound.

Wrapped in black and tan tolex with a perforated steel grille and solid metal knobs, the Spitfire II looks every bit as fierce as it sounds. Hand-selected tubes and premium components ensure this amp isn’t just versatile—it’s a true workhorse built to roar on any stage.

FEATURES

  • 2 fully independent channels (Channel 1 - Clean/Channel 2 - Crunch)
  • Both Channels feature Volume, Gain, Bass, Middle, Treble, Presence
  • Dual Volume/Gain Channel 2 (switchable, allows for two gain settings with 2 volumes for level adjustment to match volumes)
  • Rear panel low frequency 3-position adjustment switch (allows for changing the amount and character of the bottom end - effects both channels)
  • 2 button footswitch included for access to Ch 1/2 or Ch2 A/B
  • Ohm selector switch for 4, 8 or 16ohm output.
  • Vintage tan tolex-wrapped front panel for a distinctive look on stage.
  • All components specifically spec'd and tested by Diamond before inclusion in the product.
  • Independent LED's indicate which volume/gain is active and whether the boost is engaged.
  • Properly designed, tube-driven effects loop (shorting jack so the loop will automatically engage when cables are plugged in and disengage when cables are removed).
  • Front panel Effects Return control that acts as an overall master when loop is engaged for quick overall volume adjustment.
